Research Project on Armenian Youth in Postwar Armenia Launched with Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation support
We are thrilled to share that Marina Galstyan has been awarded a grant by the Armenian Communities Department of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation to support her new research project:
📘 "Armenian Youth in Postwar Armenia: Research and Discourse."
This important study will explore the impact of the 2020 war on Armenian youth, aiming to uncover their lived experiences, challenges, and resilience in the aftermath of the war.
As part of the project, at least 1,000 young people will be surveyed across different regions of Armenia and Yerevan, and 80 participants will take part in focus groups and in-depth interviews. Both qualitative and quantitative data will be collected and submitted to the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. The data will then be thoroughly analysed, and the final analytical report, along with evidence-based policy recommendations, will be prepared and shared with the Foundation, youth policy makers, youth field stakeholders and a large audience.
👏 Congratulations to Marina on this important initiative that will contribute to a deeper understanding of youth resilience and policy needs in Armenia!
The project will be implemented with the support of the Center for Educational Research and Consulting, bringing additional expertise and resources to ensure high-quality data collection, analysis, and impact.
