On October 8, a discussion was held—initiated by the "Arar" Foundation—regarding the monograph Armenian Youth at the Crossroads of Uncertainty and Hope, authored by Marina Galstyan, founder of the Center for Educational Research and Consulting.

The meeting aimed to discuss the findings of the research conducted among Armenian youth—as summarized in the monograph—with specialists and experts in the fields of youth affairs, education, science, and related sectors.

In his welcoming remarks, Armen Khachikyan, Director of the "Arar" Foundation, emphasized the Foundation's consistent commitment to valuing such sectoral studies, including those focused on youth.

Marina Galstyan presented the core message of the monograph, highlighting that it is not merely a research study but an attempt to understand what it means to be young in the context of crises, including within post-war societies. Through questions and comments, meeting participants engaged in an in-depth discussion of research data concerning youth career guidance, education, political and civic participation, employment, and mental health.

The monograph was prepared within the framework of the project "Youth in Post-War Armenia: Research and Discourse," led by Marina Galstyan (PhD in Sociology) and in cooperation with the Centre for Educational Research and Consulting. The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation made this project possible. The views and approaches expressed belong solely to the author and do not necessarily reflect the position of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

We extend our gratitude to the Arar Foundation for initiating and organising the meeting, as well as to all the attendees for the in-depth professional discussion and observations.
